Last week I purchased 'Life is What you make it' -Preeti Shenoy from flipkart.
The book is quite good. The language used is lucid, plain and the story is told in first person.
Through this book I got to know about a disease called bipolar disorder.A person's mind or creative brain fluctuating like a sinusoid,so that he/she experiences doldrums of creative super power and abysmal despair.
During the periods of crust, the person becomes extremely charged up and ventures into high creativity and action. She displays zest and vigour as if drugs have been administered.
And in the depression phase the person loathes herself and her life and may even attempt suicide.
Famous painter Van gogh was a prey to this disease. It was in one such tantrum that he cut his left ear off.
After reading this book I could relate to some junctures in my life when things seemed so depressing such that I felt like being in a trap.Like a fly caught in cobwebs of fevistick, where escape seemed a far cry.
And the inevitability of a fall after a rise.A hill definitely got to have its slopes. The wheel of life turns with each point in it experiencing alternate rises and falls.
Whenever a road diverts in our life and we are left with the choice to stall the bifurcation we select, one ought to have some understanding of how 'not going for' the others is going to impact the way she chooses.
Its truely not the way alone that matters but your capability to accept, adapt, endorse and finally discover passion there that matters. And by discovering passion I mean nothing other than the so called success in life.
I strongly believe that there would come some point in life where we realise the ultimate beauty of what is within us.When the world and our sense of existence falls into synchronisation .And thats when one can truely enjoy the bliss of existence.
