Each incident in my life has brought me closer and closer to the elegance and truth in the idea of staying downright foolish.Yes, Foolish.
Staying foolish is an art in itself.Its one of the greatest strengths a person can possess.
Being foolish keeps one open to changes,open to challenges and most importantly open to ideas and innovation.
Only a fool can question axioms.Only he can pose a threat to the conventional concepts and thus steward change.Consider the simplicity behind the situation in which Newton discovered gravity.
I would say that the reason why we respect him is because he was a fool.A downright idiot! Otherwise who would have asked to himself "Why on earth did that apple fall down to earth?"
I would've asked him,"Oh c'mmon man,didn't all apples,mangoes and coconuts that have been stripped of their stalks fallen down?Why shouldn't it fall down?Lol! you are such an idiot!"
(My friends came in,flow of thoughts interrupted.Helpless!Grrr...!)
But that was the birth of the universal law of gravitation that pillared the massive Newtonian mechanics.But for Newton, humanity would have failed to realise the force that every single particle of mass has on another.Yes,and all credit to his foolishness!
Its always an ability to conceal ones ability.And the beauty of a character comes when there is no deleberate concealment.It should be innocuous and spontaneous.And thats when you stay foolish.
Creativity is the greatest skill a man can possess.I stress on the word skill here.Each human being has this gift of creativity,the ability to imagine,innovate and the drive to be passionate about the inanimate,the emotional and the physical.
How much a person uses this skill depends on how foolish he is.There is an indirectly varying relation between idealism and imagination.A man who is always concious about the rules,who sticks to the laid down rules, and thus has the habit of taking everything for granted is surely the most miserable creature on the planet.
One has to first create his dreams,convert them into actions( hard work or effort part) and then live his dream.And to initiate the first stage what you need is to be foolish.
So be a fool,it will always work!
